MAPPING THE CONFERENCE SITE AND HOTELS:

TRANSPORTATIONS TO AND FROM PORTO AIRPORT

Arrival: From Porto Airport you can take the subway (Violete Line) to the station “Casa da Música” (>23 min), then the hotels are within a walking distance (500 – 1000 m). If you travel heavy, it might be better to take a Taxi at “Casa da Música” subway station to the hotel.
Alternatively you can take a Taxi from Porto Airport to the hotel, which should cost around €25.

All taxis are equipped with a taximeter, and the fare charged is limited to the amount displayed on the meter.
A surcharge of 20% is applied on the following periods: weekends and public holidays; working days between 21H00 and 06H00 (surcharge automatically calculated by the taximeter).
The request of this service via taxi central dispatch or by telephone can be increased with a fee of €0,80.
A fee of €1,60 will be charged for the transportation of luggage exceeding 55cm x 35cm x 20cm .
The transportation of cribs, prams and wheelchairs is free of charge.
Any tipping is left to passenger's discretion.
The price of a taxi journey is based on four passengers.
Passenger must be given a receipt: it is compulsory.
A Taxi from the airport to Boavista neighborhood, where are located the hotels and the conference site, should be around €25.
