MARIONET
Mário Montenegro and Nuno Pinho founded MARIONET in October 2000. The groups’ interests are diverse and range from plays about different ways of looking at reality, children’s stories, new media influences in society and science and theatre. MARIONET has successfully written and produced 5 original science and theatre plays. The first play, Revolução dos Corpos Celestes was produced in 2001. It is a reflection about our role in the universe and the evolution of cosmology.

MARIONET does not aim to explain science but to make the public reflect on scientific issues.
