The 4th Course on Optical Microscopy Imaging for Biosciences is an intensive course destinated to researchers that want to get the basis of modern light microscopy.
The course will explore the principles of light microscopy including the theory of image formation, the anatomy of an optical microscope, light contrast techniques, fluorescence wide-field microscopy and laser scanning confocal microscopy. It will focus also on digital imaging and image processing. Live cell imaging and advanced applications for molecular analysis as Fluorescence Recovering After Photobleaching (FRAP), PhotoActivation (PA) or Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET), intravital imaging and high-throughput analysis will be topics also covered by the course.
The program will include lectures and practical sessions with equipment provided by sponsor companies.
Registration deadline: 3rd of June, 2012
