ASEPTIC TECHNIQUE, SURGERY AND SUTURES IN LABORATORY MOUSE & RAT: The use of an aseptic technique is an important tool to achieve good experimental results when testing surgical models. Animal recovery is dependent not only on the surgical model but also on the pre and postsurgical care. This basic workshop will provide training in aseptic technique, introduction to surgical care and suture techniques applied to mouse and rat.
