30 years of Preventive Genetics

Just like every other research group, the Center for Predictive and Preventive Genetics (CGPP) also had to move into new facilities at i3S. The new headquarters is being inaugurated on September 22nd.
The inauguration of the brand new space is, above all, an opportunity to celebrate 30 years of Preventive Genetics in neurological diseases in Portugal.

There will be an honoree, as well, to tie the event together. Professor Paula Coutinho, former Corino de Andrade's mentee and tightly connected to Machado-Joseph disease, is being commended for a valuable contribution to neurogenetics in Portugal and her dedication to UnIGENe and to CGPP.
