ANIMPACT – “An ethical, legal and practical perspective on the impact of a new regulatory framework for the scientific use of animals on research and innovation” is a research project granted by the European Commission, in the scope of the seventh framework programme.
It brings together a multidisciplinary team of academic researchers from six EU Member States namely Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom and the Netherlands, that intends to analyse and evaluate the interactions between regulation and health research and innovation, by accompanying the transposition of the Directive 2010/63/EU into the Member States' legislation.
This is the first ANIMPACT scientific meeting and the first opportunity for this team to meet personally. The scientific meeting will be on 7th February 2014 at the Círculo Universitário do Porto.
