Course on High Content Screening and Image Analysis for BioSciences

The 3rd Course on High Content Screening and Image Analysis for Biosciences is a comprehensive and intensive course that aims to provide the basis of image-based screening. It is designed to graduate students, early-career investigators and everyone willing to enter in the multiplex era. The course includes lectures given by specialists in the field and hands-on sessions with HCS instruments and open-source software for image and data analysis.

LAB SESSIONS INFO

LAB SESSION 1 and 3 – Assay preparation and liquid handling. Three screening example experiments will be performed:     a) Drug screening and hit finding using high content imaging tools and instruments
b) Viability screen with a homogeneous assay
c) Time-lapse microscopy screen

LAB SESSION 4 – Assay preparation (HC imaging tools), Multi-mode microplate reader, Automated microscopy

LAB SESSION 5 – Imaging processing workflow by ImageJ

LAB SESSION 6 – Image/Data acquisition

LAB SESSION 7 – Image Analysis with Cell Profiler and Cell Profiler Analyst

LAB SESSION 2 – Data Analysis with HTM Explorer
