European Researchers’ Night 2013

IBMC.INEB has once again taken part in the organisation of the European Researchers’ Night. The 2013 edition is taking place next Friday, 27^th September, at the Botanical Garden (at Casa Andresen), just a short walk away from our building.

This year’s theme is the Future 2020, a subject picked within the frame of Horizon 2020 and that allows an early approach to many challenges that need to be tackled in the near future.

Among the many activities planned, a handful deserve to be highlighted:

- O Homem e a Terra, a talk that brings Alexandre Quintanilha, Jorge Paiva and Paulo Farinha Marques together;

- Gastronomia do futuro, a chance to taste some very alternative flavours that eventually may become a regular at your favourite restaurant;

- Invasão da Casa Andresen, a remarkable exhibit that cannot be missed;

- Bar de cientistas, the open bar that is already a tradition in Porto’s European Researchers’ Night.
