Following a one-year gap, the i3S Annual Meeting returns for its 5th edition!
The integration of the three institutes that comprise i3S and the move into our new "house" at Asprela made it impossible to organize the i3S retreat last year. Therefore, 2016 ushers in a new era for i3S and this year's Annual Meeting strives to reflect the current reality. At the same time, it is the perfect occasion to revisit old memories, so it makes sense to return to Axis Vermar Conference & Beach Hotel, Póvoa de Varzim, the venue of our last gathering.

The general concept maintains the spirit of the preceding events, with three main sessions devoted to scientific talks revolving around i3S Integrative Research Programs. Each session will include plenary lectures by invited external speakers. In anticipation of your challenging abstracts we have also extended time dedicated to poster discussion.
