Workshops: A different way of managing references

Mendeley is a free bibliographic reference manager and an academic social network that enhances productivity, facilitates online collaboration, makes finding new publications easier, and improves the organization of bibliography. It has mobile applications for tablet and smartphone (iOS® and Android®) that allow remote access to documents and references. It permits the creation of an academic profile where the author's publications can be placed, and allows the creation of private groups (makes it possible to share documents and references) and public groups (only allows to share references). It also has a plugin for Internet browsers, which makes it possible to extract metadata from the obtained references in a database search directly to each user's personal library.

This training will consist of three workshops with progressive levels of content:

1st Workshop: What is the Mendeley platform and how to use it (Introductory)
2nd Workshop: Swap your current software and start to share (Intermediate)
3rd Workshop: Importing external searches and managing groups (Advanced)
