IBMC researcher wins award

Hélder Maiato is this year's laureate of the Loius-Jeantet Young Investigator Career Award (YICA).

The IBMC researcher was yet again acknowledged for his work on chromosome segregation during cell division, this time around with a prize first given out in 2011. The YICA aims to encourage promising young scientists doing biomedical research and awards 100.000 Swiss francs for research and an individual prize worth 10.000 Swiss francs.
