TRANSPORTATION

1) FLIGHTs:

TAP Portugal, the portuguese airline company, offers a discount to ETOX participants.
The participants who make their flight booking and buy their ticket exclusively through TAP Portugal’s website will have a 10% discount in economy class and a 20% discount in business class.

2) How to get to HotÉis do Bom Jesus, in Braga?

By car:

By plane:
The closest airport to Braga is the Oporto’s Airport (called Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport). It is 50 km away from Braga.
If you are flying to Lisbon, there is a fast train to Braga. For more information go to: www.cp.pt.

From Oporto’s Airport to Braga, you have the following options:

- Shuttle Service: Direct connection between the airport and Braga city centre (Braga Train Station) (50 minutes; 8€ one way; 14€ two ways). [http://www.getbus.eu/]

- Metro and Train: You should take the line E (violet) at the metro, directly to Campanhã (train station in Oporto) (30 minutes; 1,85 €). In Campanhã, you should get the train to Braga (Braga centre is the last stop) (40 minutes; prices from 3,10 € up to 14,20 €). - Taxi service: (40 minutes; approximate cost: 60 € - however, there are extra-chargers for luggage and night hours).

 

The Vigo Airport is another option and it lies 100 km from Braga. Participants using this airport have the following options for travel to Braga:

- Train: You should catch the train in Vigo, make the transshipment in Nine station (Portugal) and follow to Braga (2 hours). [http://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en/]

- Taxi service: (45 minutes; approximate cost: 100 € - however, there are extra-chargers for luggage and night hours).

 

If you will use the shuttle service, the train or the bus option, you will arrive at Braga city centre. Bom Jesus do Monte, the workshop venue, is located about 7 km away from Braga city centre. The taxi between Braga city centre and Bom Jesus do Monte costs approximately 10€.
