Objetivo / Purpose otf the acquisition:

A necessidade e o interesse do IBMC em diligenciar o serviço Centro de Genética Preditiva e Preventiva (CGPP), com os meios materiais necessários ao desenvolvimento da respetiva atividade, bem como melhorar a prestação dos serviços aí realizados, nomeadamente a necessidade de detetar e explorar variações genómicas que integram informações genéticas de diferentes fontes num ambiente consistente e conveniente. 

The need and interest of IBMC to undertake the Center for Predictive and Preventive Genetics (CGPP) service, with the material means necessary for the development of its activity, as well as to improve the provision of the services performed there, namely the need to detect and explore genomic variations that integrate genetic information from different sources in a consistent and convenient environment.
