A necessidade e o interesse de o IBMC dar início ao processo de acreditação/certificação do Biotério, visando assegurar a certificação da respetiva atividade, financiado por fundos FEDER - Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional através do COMPETE 2020; Norte 2020, Horizonte 2020, FP7 e fundos próprios;O Processo de Acreditação constitui uma manifesta mais valia para o desenvolvimento da atividade do Biotério e é um dos objetivos incluídos no Programa de Neurociências do Norte 2020;A acreditação contribui para elevar os padrões de referência global ao nível do bem-estar animal na ciência.The need and interest of IBMC to initiate the process of accreditation / certification of the Biotério (Animal Facility), in order to ensure the certification of its activity, financed by FEDER - European Regional Development Fund through COMPETE 2020; North 2020, Horizon 2020, FP7 and own funds;The Accreditation Process is an obvious asset and has several advantages for the development of the facilities’ activity, being one of the goals included in the Norte2020 Neurosciences Program.Accreditation helps to raise the global benchmark for animal well-being in science.
