Objetivo / Purpose otf the acquisition:

Este serviço é realizado para estudo da eficácia e da segurança de um composto promissor contra a leishmaniose em modelo de macaco Rhesus, no âmbito do projeto FP7-HEALTH-2013-INNOVATION-603240-NMTrypl-New Medicines for Trypanosomatidic Infections. Este trabalho foi realizado no contexto da atividade de sinergismo entre dois projetos FP7 (FP7-HEALTH-2013-INNOVATION- 602773-2-KINDRED- Kinetoplastid Drug Development: strengthening the preclinical pipeline and FP7-HEALTH-2013-INNOVATION-603240-NMTrypl-New Medicines for Trypanosomatidic Infections). O trabalho teve início há cerca de 1 ano atrás com o teste de uma molécula promissora em modelo de macaco Resus e os resultados serão terminados no fim do mês de janeiro de 2017. As despesas foram divididas entre os dois projetos e esta aquisição de serviços tem como objetivo a cobertura de metade das despesas por parte do projeto NMTRYPL, despesas essas que se referem à análise dos diferentes parâmetros constantes no presente caderno de encargos.This service aims to the study of the efficacy and safety of a new promising compound against leishmaniosis in a rhesus monkey model under the project FP7-HEALTH-2013-INNOVATION-603240-NMTrypl-New Medicines for Trypanosomatidic Infections. This work was carried out in the context of the synergistic activity between two FP7 projects (FP7-HEALTH-2013-INNOVATION- 602773-2-KINDRED- Kinetoplastid Drug Development: strengthening the preclinical pipeline and FP7-HEALTH-2013- INNOVATION-603240-NMTrypl- New Medicines for Trypanosomatidic Infections). This work began about 1 year ago with the test of a promising molecule in the Resus monkey model and the results will be finished by the end of January 2017. Expenditure was divided between the two projects and this acquisition of services aims to cover half of the expenditure of the NMTRYPL projects, expenses that refer to the analysis of the different parameters stated in the present specifications.
